did that just really happen?

While working with the public, you never know what will happen!  When I was 16, I got my license & a job.  Mom wasn't going to pay for my gas 24/7, & I sure wasn't going to let her.  I worked at a local BBQ restaurant for 4-5 years, then went to work for an attorneys office for almost four years.  I've dealt with the most crabbiest people to the most happiest, cheerful people.  I've had people make me cry.  I've seen an owl sitting on a woman's shoulders, while she was picking up her food from the drive-thru.  I've saw a client bring a snake into the attorney's office.

Since I started my new job last June, I knew it would be no different.  I had a feeling I would be seeing a lot more strange and funny things!  I recently started writing these things down.  Thought it would be funny to keep up with the crazy things that happen!

So far at my new job . . .

I've had a guy (who was paying his child support for crying out loud) ask me 

when 'he was gonna to take me to dinner.'  My response?  'Umm.  Never.'

I've had a man slide his (out of town) number to me.

A lady came in while brushing her teeth.

I see pajamas & peoples butt cracks all the time!  No big deal, right?

A lady handed me her money, out of her SHOE.  She literally said, 'hold on, let me get my money out of my shoe.'  She then bent down & got it out of her shoe.  I was hungry before she came but quickly lost my appetite, ha!  As soon as she said that, I layered the hand sanitizer down, tried to barely touch her $, finished the transaction  sanitized again, & then soaked the area where the $ was on my desk with Clorox, ha!  She was the nicest person to beat it all!

There has been diarrhea in the lobby floor - and not from a baby.
